Kate Middleton Picks the Most Perfect Designer to Wear on a Visit to Scotland

Kate Middleton is known to much of the world as the Duchess of Cambridge, but when she and her husband are in Scotland, they are referred to by the titles Earl and Countess of Strathearn. As so it was today when William and Kate undertook a special royal engagement up in Scotland, visiting a charity that helps young people. William and Kate have long loved Scotland, having met while students there at St. Andrew's University.

It should come as no surprise, then, that Kate showed more love to Scotland today by picking a beautiful blue coat from Scottish designer Christopher Kane. We know that Kate loves colorful coats, and this morning's pick was a perfectly-tailored black-and-blue plaid car coat with a delicate belt at the waist. Kate completed the look with a black turtleneck, and another piece she adores, over-the-knee boots - her picks are a $725 pair from Aquatalia.

We've seen a trio of colorful looks from Kate lately, with today's blue Christopher Kane and her recent purple Dolce & Gabbana dress and daring red Jenny Packham gown. The Duchess (or Countess) can clearly rock any color under the sun, but we have to admit to really loving her in blue.
