If you're wondering why Miranda Kerr's look from last night's Elle's Women in Hollywood Awards looks so familiar, it's because Carrie Bradshaw wore it first. When Carrie and Miranda memorably tried on wedding dresses in season four of Sex and the City (and Carrie got that awful rash!), Carrie was strutting around NYC wearing a belt right over her bared midriff. We don't think we've seen the look since. That is, not until Miranda Kerr bravely borrowed the look on Monday's red carpet.
