We may not ride around on hoverboards or travel in time via DeLorean, but one item from Back to the Future II may soon be in your possession.
On Oct. 21, 2015 - the exact date Marty McFy travels to in the sequel film - Nike confirmed to Mashable that the first pair of self-lacing sneakers were "in NYC." Say what?! Kicks that tie themselves?! It's about freakin' time!
Although we have yet to know what the actual sneakers will look like, we're guessing they'll be similar to a limited-edition model Nike released back in 2011. Look through to see the shoe we're talking about and prepare to embrace the future. It's - quite literally! - now.
